About Me

I'm retired (1998) and love to fish. I started to fish some 40 years ago for bass using a Sear's jon boat. Then I migrated to stream and pond fishing for trout. Tied all my own flies; streamers, dry, wet, etc. Did stream and pond fishing until about 20 years ago when I started to have tendonitis problems. Fished out of a 1983 16.5 ft. Sea Nymph and used it until 2000 when I upgraded to a 18.5 Lund Tyee.

My fishing haunts are; the ocean, Merrimack, Piscataqua and Saco rivers for stripers and the Gulf of Mexico for anything that bites, to Lake Ontario for browns and kings, landlocks in Lake Champlain, Winnipesaukee, Squam, Mooselookmeguntic, Moosehead and many others places.

Eight Annual New Hampshire Hunting and Fishing Days, September 1979

I got roped into the fly casting competition by Bill Hunter from Hunter's Angling Supply. The object was to cast a piece of yarn (the fly) into a kiddy pool that contain a ring. The ring was the bulls eye. I got the closest of all the contestants and won a $25 gift certificate at his shop. That was in the days that I had more hair and was trimmer.
