Taping Lures
Taping lures is very popular way of experimenting with different colors combination and schemes to enhances existing lures, giving new life to old lures that are not used because of poor performance or taping new blanks. I have been fishing for many years and have accumulated many different types and poor performing lures that have been revitalized into lures that catch fish.
Some of the tools that I use are: 1) A lure cleaner, acetone, obtain in your local paint department; 2) Craft knife, X-Acto knife, obtain from Staples; 3) Circle punch for making dots, leather punch; 4) hair dryer, heating tapes for flexibility; 5) Rust-Oleum Crystal Clear Enamel, for sealing transparent overlays; 6) eye brow tweezers, for handling dots, 7) Paper Cutter for trimming tapes, 8) 6 pack of paper edger, Fiskers.
